Welcome to Rhubarb & Rubble.
We are an Angus based creative gardening and landscaping company that offer full design & build makeovers, planting designs and landscape art.
We can either work to your brief or give you our own ideas for your garden design.
We try whenever possible to work organically, find ways to recycle materials found in your garden and to locally source materials and planting.
About the Owner
Barry Smale (Company Director) attended Capel Manor Horticultural College and has 15 years of experience designing and building gardens in and around London and Scotland.
In 2012 Barry was part of a small design team whose garden won bronze at Hampton Court Flower Show and in 2015 a Rhubarb and Rubble garden design and build was shortlisted for the Travis Perkins Landscaping Job Of The Year.
Most recently, Barry was commissioned to build the seating area at the Old Shore Head Common, Arbroath using local red sandstone and carved beech wood for the seating
